Reunion in Hoschton

Our take

Reunion is built around an 18-hole championship golf course, with a community pool and water park, eight pickleball and tennis courts, a fitness center, and a full restaurant on the property. Most homes are John Wieland builds from the early 2000s on wooded lots — a builder with a local reputation for quality — and many have the primary suite on the main level, single-level living without giving up square footage. The newer phases were built by Pulte Homes. Dues run around $1,200 a year for the pool, tennis, and pickleball side; golf is a separate membership. A newer phase is entered off Spout Springs Road: it's its own section rather than a walk-through continuation of the main village, but residents use the same amenities. Cherokee Bluff schools.

Hall County and Cherokee Bluff schools

Reunion sits in the Hall County part of Hoschton, and the Cherokee Bluff school cluster is one of the biggest reasons buyers ask about it. Zoning can change, so we confirm school assignments for the exact address.

Amenities without golf

You don't have to golf to live here. The amenity side — pool and water park, tennis and pickleball courts, and the fitness center — runs around $1,200 a year, and golf is a separate, optional membership.

Who built the home matters

Most of Reunion was built by John Wieland in the early 2000s, and Wieland had a local reputation for building a quality home: classic Southern exteriors, front porches, sidewalks, and wooded lots, with many plans putting the primary suite on the main level. The newer phases were built by Pulte Homes, and in our experience they aren't the same build. We walk the finishes with you and push for a thorough inspection on a newer home before you make an offer.

How it compares to Chateau Elan

Both are golf communities a short drive apart. Reunion feels more like a classic neighborhood with a big family amenity center; Chateau Elan is a gated resort setting with a winery and hotel. We're happy to tour both so you can feel the difference.

The new phase off Spout Springs Road

Reunion's newer homes are entered off Spout Springs Road and don't physically connect to the original village — it's its own section, not a walk-through extension of the main neighborhood. Residents there still get the same amenity access: pool and water park, tennis and pickleball, and the fitness center. The catch is that you drive down Spout Springs Road to reach the main village and the amenity center. If walking over matters to you, ask which section a listing is in before you tour it.

Getting around by golf cart

The main entrance off Friendship Road has wide sidewalks that are golf cart accessible, and plenty of residents use them — it's common to see neighbors traveling down Friendship Road by cart to reach restaurants and grocery stores. If golf cart living is part of the lifestyle you're after, the main village side of Reunion delivers it.
